Find and attach an existing document into an agenda

I have had an organization ask to make it possible to upload two agendas and merge both into the meeting packet.

Copy Link for Documents

It would be good to have the ability to upload a document to the Documents Group, then copy its link from there into an email or to an agenda item rather than having to upload it twice or have to give written instructions as to where to find it.

Clarification: Once the document is uploaded, can't you just right click to get a link? I don't understand why it needs to be uploaded twice. :)

Rich Boulet: I've tried doing that, into the description box under the agenda item, but it doesn't copy as an active link or make it downloadable. What I had in a previous board platform I used was the ability to put a document in the main documents folder on the platform, then just add a link directly to it in the appropriate agenda item. Boardspot doesn't have the ability to add a URL instead of a file attachment unless you paste it into the description box, and then it's awkward, messy, and as I said, pasting the link from where it is in the documents group didn't give me an active link.

Rich Boulet: Rich, you're absolutely correct that you can copy the link to an existing document, but linking to that document is sometimes not possible, depending on where you're trying to add the link. We have merged this request into another feature that would allow the admin to browse and attach existing documents. This should solve the original problem well.
